First of all, here's a great picture of me playing football. Peyton Manning, eat your heart out!!!!
Next, here's some news featuring Extreme Moose Tracks from Denali partner Mayfield Dairy Farms:
ATHENS, Tenn. (May 8, 2006) — Often called “the great American dessert,” ice cream has walked hand-in-hand with American values since the first ice cream parlor opened in New York City in 1776. Coincidentally, this is the same year our nation debuted as what would become the greatest democracy the world has ever known. It seems only right for Mayfield Dairy Farms to bring these two great traditions together in the form of “Flavor Decision ’06,” a chance for the public to democratically choose a favorite from among Mayfield’s four new feature flavors – Blueberry Cream Pie, Extreme Moose Tracks, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough and Triple Brownie. Introduced in March 2006, these individual feature flavors have steadily built their fan bases among consumers.
“The Mayfield family loves to introduce new and fresh flavors to our ice cream enthusiasts in the Southeast,” said Scottie Mayfield, president of Mayfield Dairy Farms. “But, unfortunately, not all of these new flavors can become a long-term part of the Mayfield ice cream line-up. The only fair way to decide which ones stay and which ones don’t is to have a consumer vote.”
Flavor Decision ’06 is an opportunity for the feature flavor candidates to rally their supporters as they hit the campaign trail in a light-hearted spoof of the electoral process. The candidates are also enlisting the support of young people in the region by asking parents to sign their children up for the Kid Campaigner Contest. Kid Campaigners can download election support materials specific to their favorite flavor and launch their own campaign effort. Campaign packages will be judged by Mayfield and winners will receive prizes. Details are available at www.mayfieldvote.com.
“Our experience is that flavor fanatics are very passionate about what they like,” Mayfield continued. “We hope this race for freezer space will be a clean contest, though there are already early signs of negative campaigning tactics.”
The polls will be open May 15 through August 27. Sampling and voting opportunities are available at several retail outlets and special events throughout the region. Visit Mayfield's website and click “Campaign Stops” for a complete list of dates and locations. Sampling is also conducted at Mayfield’s two visitor centers located at Athens, Tenn., and Braselton, Ga. Voters may also cast their ballots online, or by toll-free call to 1-866-789-VOTE (1-866-789-8683).
So go vote -- for Extreme Moose Tracks! And remember, a vote for Extreme Moose Tracks is a vote for MORE CHOCOLATE!!!!!
